What’s the difference between Open and Social Throw ?
Open Throw is for recommended for smaller groups (2-10 throwers) and lasts one hour - just the right amount for smaller groups. Cost per thrower is $30.
Social Throw is recommended for larger groups (typically 6 - 16 throwers) and lasts for two hours - ensuring enough throwing time for all participants! Cost per thrower is $50 and a minimum of three throwers is required!

How can I pay?
To reserve your lane, we require an upfront deposit.
Open Throw: $60.00 - Covers two throwers.
Social Throw: $150.00 - Covers three throwers.
If your party is bigger than the throwers covered in the deposit, pay the difference at the time of the party!
Example: Book open throw for three throwers and pay an online deposit of $60.00. Pay the remainder amount - $30.00 - in person at the time of your party!
Can we book a corporate team building event?
Yes! Please email us at Hillsboro@blueoxaxe.com if you are interested in booking a corporate team building event outside of normal business hours!
Can we come watch?
Non-throwers are allowed and welcome to come join the fun! Feel free to grab a drink and hang out with your group!
What should I wear?
Closed toe shoes and whatever is comfy! We suggest layers!
Do you offer gift cards?
For sure! Please visit our booking page for available gift cards!
CAN I BRING MY OWN HATCHET?
Sorry! You cannot bring your own hatchet. Our insurance requires all of the hatchets be supplied by us.
Can we bring our own food?
Definitely! We have bar bites for purchase. Check out our menu here. If you’re planning on bringing additional snacks, don’t forget plates, napkins, utensils!
Is there an age limit?
Yes, all throwers must be 12 or older! Spectators of all ages are welcome to join the party with a parent or guardian present.
What if I need to cancel?
All bookings are final. In the event of cancellation, customers will be issued a full value voucher for use in re-booking. Vouchers have no expiration date.
There are no refunds or credits for no-shows.
What is the alcohol policy?
We have a full bar! Come hang with your friends, throw sharp things, and drink delicious drinks!
Of course! With many of our guests being new to axe throwing, our dedicated Axe Masters begin each session with a brief introductory lesson on the rules and proper technique.
Will I receive any training?
Add this package to your booking and receive two knives and two ninja stars for the length of your appointment!
